Dear Friends and fellow Ludwigs,

Welcome to the Symphony of the Week!

About this Melody

Borrowing its title from the epic fantasy novel series, this week’s symphony of the week has an equally exciting melody. Come along and join us on this enchanting adventure as we dive into this week’s symphony, “A Song of Ice and Fire”!

Disclaimer:
At Beethoven X we like to enjoy all kinds of music, rock, jazz, classical, trip hop, each symphony is unique in its design. So while we may applaud the show, it doesn’t mean we think you should buy a ticket

Chilling out in a firery and potent orchestra…

Performance

The pool started the week (Apr 23) with a trade volume of $12K, peaked at $40.2K in the middle of the week (Apr 25) and ended with $33K on the 29th. In terms of liquidity, TVL experienced a net decrease of $161K over the week, with the lowest single day decrease on the 23rd, $94K, and the largest gain on the 27th, $28K. Overall, TVL ranged between $560K and $670K during this week.

Rewards

Corresponding to the rising and subsequent receding of trade volume, Swap Fee APR started at 5.95% on the 23rd, rose to 18.81% in two days, and ended at 18.23% on the 29th. Beets APR remained relatively stable, with a range of 2.02% — 1.16% during the week. The pool currently is allocated 0.03% of farm emissions.

Comparison

Amongst the top 50 pools by liquidity this week, the pool ranks third in Swap Fee to TVL ratio (0.13). In other words, per $1 of TVL, the pool generates $0.13 in swap fees in a year. This shows that despite its smaller TVL, the pool is creating value at an efficiency much higher than pools with larger liquidity.

Thank you

Thank you again for waltzing with us to this enchanting tune. In DeFi, magic is real, and size isn’t required to make an impact. It is everywhere around us. So take care and remember to pause once in a while to enjoy the small things. Until next time, folks!

Remember that a liquidity pool is only as good as its weakest token. If a token were blacklisted, infinitely minted, frozen, or exploited in any other way, the value of a pool could go to 0.
