Protocol Sweep
Maestros, bringing you the protocol revenue results for the month of November:
At the time of collection, fees totaled $30.0k.
🔵 $7.7k (25.8%) of the fees were generated on Fantom.
🔴 $22.3k (74.2%) were generated on Optimism.
Compared to September results:
⬆️ Fantom fees increased by 117.5%
⬆️ Optimism fees increased by 48.8%
Collected fees were deployed in the following way:
Held on Optimism
• $17.5k was used to buy OP to be paired with our Optimism grant and used as incentives.
• $1.3k was used to buy OP to use as Roast Beets incentives under BIP-52.
Treasury
• $2.1k was converted to 3751 Fantom Layer of the Opera BPTs and sent to the Fantom treasury.
• $1.2k was saved as USDC in the Fantom treasury.
• $2.0k was saved as USDC in the Optimism treasury.
• $1.4k will be used to acquire vlAura.
maBEETS voting incentives
• $4.3k was used to obtain 7625 Fantom Layer of the Opera BPTs, which will be used as Fantom gauge vote bounties during December.
Tech
Tech, tech, and more TECH. The Beets dev crew have had their heads down, fine-tuning, oiling up, and upgrading the beautiful machine that is Beethoven X. This week it's time to push some under-the-hood upgrades.
First up, here's an exciting one for all you analytics junkies out there. Beethoven X is now supported on Token Terminal. For those of you who don't know Token Terminal is an on-chain data platform providing tools to track and evaluate your favorite crypto protocols/chains. It's time to dive into some never-before-seen analytics.
Next, and the first of our under-the-hood upgrades, this week Beethoven X will be integrating Mimic into its operations processes. Mimic is a decentralized platform that models and automates DeFi operations for some of the biggest players in crypto, including Balancer, 1inch, Paraswap, and The Graph. Beethoven X will use Mimic to automatically sweep and sell pool transaction fees.
And last but not least, this week the Smart Order Router should be seeing a fresh lick of paint with its latest upgrade. She’ll now be running smoother than ever with faster responses and routes with more hops.
