Tech
The Devs are prepping the soil in anticipation of an OP summer.
With the recent success of Balancer, Gyroscopes CLPs will be arriving soon in OP. The groundwork has been done and it’s all about fine-tuning now. What’s more, the great gauge migration for OP is just on the horizon. Relevant v2 gauges need to move in preparation for the launch of Aura and consequently, LPs will have to migrate at some point in the very near future (date TBC).
Outside of OP, we’re about to step things up with a core piece of Balancer tech — the SOR. Striving for excellence a new SOR testing phase will begin on both FTM and OP. Let the optimisation begin.

Josey and Skly are teaming up for one helluva jam session on TRUST!
The concept of trust is multifaceted and complex but even more so when it comes to DeFi. Despite such a central role, trust is vaguely defined yet must be fully explored.
They are working on a series of articles ‘Trust in DeFi’ which will shed light on the concept from an engineering and social science perspective. By ping-ponging the notion of what it means to develop trust in a so-called ‘trustless’ space, they will answer some questions that are fundamental to DeFi:
How can we engineer trust? How can we build systems and protocols with strong trust warrants? And how can we make it easier to trust the systems we use?
This series of articles will consist of four parts with part I coming out later this week!
