The season of festivities is almost among us. Joy. Cheer. There is a magical buzz in the air. A season of reflection and gratitude; spirits are ridiculously high at Beethoven X!
Always crafting, composing and creating. Not only does the music flow and evolve, but our dear Ludwigs do too. Musical maestros, technical wizards, truly kind souls. The Ludwigs are the best of the best.

Without further ado, what’s on the Concerto Programme this week?
Tech
The builders continue to build, sipping their Beetlejuice and blaring the symphonies. The ultimate recipe for creation! Wen wen wen. Soon Ludwig, soon! Meticulous analysis and retrospection are key when coding the future of finance. Innovation can’t be rushed!
The Fantom Boosted Revolution is almost ready to pop! Users will be spoilt for choice with some of the most scintillating new symphonies with new magical composers. We’re in the final stage, maestros… Reblancer contracts, new factory pools and subgraph grafts; it’s almost ready to go down!
Maturity profile, NFTs, allocation points, it’s all coming together for the Reliquary. All the specifics are set, and it’s looking shweeet! Design, NFTs, gamification; this new technical primitive unlocks boundless routes for creative exploration. We can’t wait to share it! It’s a true masterpiece.
Governance
A Non-Profit LLC for the BeethovenX DAO — Throughout 2022, interested community members evaluated the BeethovenX DAO’s options to form a real-world entity to provide the off-chain means for executing the DAO’s work and vision, further the goals of decentralization and automation, and achieve a level of resilience.
After researching and exploring a variety of different options, the recommendation was to form a member-managed non-profit limited liability company (sometimes called “NP LLC”) under the laws of the Republic of the Marshall Islands (sometimes called the “RMI”).
After being put to vote, the proposal passed with 85% of users in favour. Thank you to all who voted! The next stage of our journey is only just beginning. Onwards and upwards!
Finance — Protocol Fee Distribution
November has come and gone and that can only mean one thing: it’s time to revisit the music from Fantom and Optimism. Here is the breakdown of the monthly protocol fees and their distribution for November:
At the time of collection, fees totalled $46k. The activity split was $34k (74%) on Fantom and 12k (26%) from Optimism. This brings our total fee fees for the year to $1.61m.
The $46k was deployed today in the following way:
• Held on Optimism: $5.8k held for liquidity mining incentives.
• Treasury: $24k was added to Steady Beets, Boosted (Optimism) and $4k will be used to acquire a combination of veBAL, vlAura and aurBAL
• fBEETs voting incentives: $12k (310k BEETs) will be distributed as voting incentives for gauges taking place in December. As part of this allocation, a total of $11k (283k Beets) was bought off the open market.
Please note, not included in the numbers above is the Balancer portion ($11.8k) of the Optimism fees. They have elected to make that full amount available for Optimism liquidity mining incentives, increasing the total available for that initiative to $17.6k.
Marketing
(Educative) Content is king.
The main purpose of our content is to empower users through effective education; awareness and understanding are prerequisites for user adoption.
Making sure our user base is well-informed about the technology we provide and the ecosystem we operate in is a major priority. Beyond education, content is also an essential means to provide value to our users and engage in cherished social interaction. Power to the Ludwigs!
Community building is key and content is an invaluable tool when it comes to expressing our personality and engaging with our community.
Currently, we offer users a plethora of content however we have barely scratched the surface in terms of what is possible.
There is still so much untapped potential to create innovative forms of content and further educate new users coming into DeFi.
The opportunities and potentialities are vast Ludwig’s. Lots of work is going on under the hood to take Beethoven X to the next stage in its content creation journey!
Hot Topics
The baddest and biggest tech stack there is. Balancer technology is always pushing the boundaries of DeFi. Boosted, metastable, LBPs, the list goes on…
