Dear Friends,
Welcome to another beautiful week! Things are starting to settle out there; it feels nice to have a little bit more room to breathe and to really get stuck into what we love doing most — making badass music.
A crescendo is building and bhoy’ is this one going to be a banger. The Boosted Revolution is just on the horizon and we are super excited to showcase what we have been working on over the past couple of months.
There is so much to look forward to, it’s almost overwhelming. In the meantime how about you kick back, relax and dive into the Concerto Programme for this week.
Tech
Endless innovation. Beethoven X continues to showcase the creativity of DeFi and pioneer the next stage of financial technology. The new Boosted Pools on Fantom offer some of the creative and composable Boosted pools in DeFi, and the implementation of Reliquary unlocks a revolutionary new primitive for users. Boosted Pools are now going through the final battle testing stage. Soon Ludwig, soon!
Reliquary development is ramping up a gear. Levels, maturities, and visuals are the core focus for the devs this week. No matter the markets, we continue to take the tech to the next level! But even when pushing boundaries, we never rush. Safety and security are our core principles, and the devs are doing everything in their power to ensure the code is some of the hardest there is.
UX and simplicity are also a focus this week. We understand the confusion that arises when interacting with any DeFi application; unknown tokens and symbols only add to the complexities. Hence, this week, Beethoven X is trialling alternatives to present the Boosted Pool tokens. Instead of the mind-bending bb-rf-a tokens, the pools now present the underlying boosted token. Super fast, super slick and super simple, Beethoven X aims to become the most user-friendly DEX in DeFi.
Governance
Don’t you just love it when a plan comes together? The Guide Tones are a core part of the new Beethoven X DAO structure! Part of their role is to guide the governance process surrounding proposals. Before a new BIP can be put up for vote it first needs to be formally discussed by the community. Full steam ahead! Currently there are 2 new topics which have be put up for discussion in the Discord:
Infrastructure costs — In July there was a governance vote that passed authorising the treasury to cover infrastructure costs. The overarching requirement was:
- Cost claims would be capped at $10k per month
- Work towards reducing the average cost
- Run it for a trial period, with it ending at October month end
We are now approaching the end of this period and would like the community to approve a 5 month extension up to the end of March 2023 Month End.
A Non-Profit LLC for the BeethovenX DAO — Throughout 2022, interested community members have evaluated the BeethovenX DAO’s options to form a real-world entity to provide the off-chain means for executing the DAO’s work and vision, further the goals of decentralisation and automation, and achieve a level of resilience. After researching and exploring a variety of different options, the recommendation is to form a member-managed non-profit limited liability company (sometimes called “NP LLC”) under the laws of the Republic of the Marshall Islands (sometimes called the “RMI”).
As always these discussions are open to debate for any member of the community. All of the topics above can be found in their respective BIP channels on our Discord.
Marketing
Over the past year, we have built a brand that has come to be recognised for its excellence, its care and compassion, for its community and most importantly its outrageous capacity for creativity.
Content creation continues to be a core component of our marketing strategy and is one of the major ways we differentiate ourselves from our competitors. However, there is always room for improvement and we still believe there is so much untapped potential to further educate new users and share the Beethoven X brand with the world.
We already have a unique brand image, encourage education, and offer kickass technology; the question then becomes: how do we take it to the next level? Over the past few months, we have been working hard to answer this exact question. The result? Two new initiatives have presented themselves, we can’t wait to share them later this week; onwards and upwards!

At Beethoven X, we are super lucky to have a community of next level Ludwig’s that are always willing to offer a helping hand. Recently we have had a few community members who have truly gone above and beyond. In recognition of their incredible work we have added them into the Usher role on our Discord. Usher’s take care of Discord server in a similar way as a moderator. Ushers aim to create the best experience possible and make every moment count.
