Governance
It’s time for something a little new maestros!
This week Beethoven X said hello to our very own validator node. So now, alongside our network-leading liquid staking protocol, sFTMx, we’re securing the network in more ways than one. Check out our node below — she’s a beauty!
So what exactly does this have to do with governance?
Well, in line with BIP-67, and harnessing our validator’s voting powers, all Fantom Foundation governance votes will now be replicated in our own governance system. This means maBEETS holders have the power to influence the future of our network! And the first vote will be arriving imminently. Want to get familiarised first? sFTMx Coalition
Things are getting SPICCCYY…
With the first epoch of the sFTMx coalition coming to a close, it’s time for a quick update. In the first epoch, over $1000 of rewards were distributed to 6 protocols for their respective pools. In descending order, these were:
- sFTMx/EQUAL pool on Beets from Equalizer
- sFTMx/BEETS pool on Equalizer from Beethoven X
- ECO/sFTMx pool on Beets by ECO
- BAY/sFTMx pool on Beets by MoonBay
- fKINGS/sFTMx pool on Beets by fKINGS
- FVM/sFTMx pool on Velocimeter by Velocimeter

Another wave of the bi-weekly Gauge Vote has been completed and the votes are in. This round, over $9000 worth of incentives were offered as BEETS bounties.

- 10% to Beets devs

- 20% to top 100 migrators (Weighted)
