Governance
This week we marked the start of an exciting new song for Beethoven X with a seminal proposal entering the discussion period.
The BIP would see the Beethoven X DAO take over ownership and running of Stader Labs’ Fantom LST, sFTMx. After a governance vote in November 2023, Stader opted to wind down its operations involving sFTMx. Acknowledging the pivotal role sFTMx plays in the Fantom DeFi ecosystem, contributors from Beethoven X initiated discussions with Stader. These discussions culminated in an agreement, facilitating the transfer of sFTMx management to Beethoven X.
Working hand-in-hand with Beethoven’s yield-bearing native tech this move looks set to establish Beets as the most aligned and attuned DEX on Fantom.

Gauge vote
The weeks are just flying by and the next round of the Beethoven Gauge Vote is just on the horizon.
Don’t miss the opportunity to have your say in BEETS emissions for the period of the 7th to the 20th of February.
50% of the BEETS farm emissions are decided by the maBEETS gauge and the next round will start this Thursday!
Tech
It’s time for a little bit of TECH!
The team over at Balancer have been hard at work and recently released the Batch Relayer V6. This means a few changes to the UI:
- Clicking on the stars at the top right of the page will show only one button for claiming all pool rewards. Currently, the UI shows two: one for $BAL and one for other rewards.
- When looking at a pool you’re invested in, the page will show only one button for claiming all pool rewards rather than two.
- When unstaking a BPT from a gauge the following actions will now be batched together in one transaction: claiming BAL rewards, claiming other rewards & unstaking the BPT.
This new Batch Relayer will also take over all other batched actions. And please note: All users will be prompted to approve the new relayer, so please don’t panic!
